Navigating PA Cloud ​

This page describes the persistent control elements that remain accessible throughout the platform to help you navigate between different tools and manage your environment.

The Toolbar ​

The top header bar provides navigation and quick-access tools:

  • Sidebar Toggle: Use the icon on the far left to collapse or expand the navigation sidebar to maximize your workspace.
  • Project selector: Displays your current context, showing the Organization and the active Project. Clicking the Project name opens the project management modal.
  • Global Quick Actions: On the right, you can quickly open the Scratchpad to jot down a rapid note or trigger the Assistant in a minimal right-sidebar view for immediate queries.

The Navigation Sidebar ​

The sidebar is your primary tool for navigating PA Cloud. It is divided into two areas:

  • Home: Return to your main dashboard.
  • Research: Access the Assistant and Notebook for planning and documenting your research.
  • Data: Manage your Datasets, build Cohorts, and handle Sample Sheets.
  • Compute: Launch Workflows or open interactive Sandboxes.

Utility & Settings (Bottom) ​

  • Documentation: A direct link to these help pages.
  • Dark Mode: A toggle to switch the interface between light and dark visual themes.
  • User Menu: Access your account settings and profile information.
